Dewar's White Label is the entry blended Scotch from John Dewar & Sons, first created in the 1890s and still the backbone of the Dewar's range. It's built around Aberfeldy single malt whisky married with grain whiskies, then given extra time together in oak after blending — a step called 'marrying' Dewar's has used since Victorian times to smooth the mix. It's light and easy-drinking, with honeyed sweetness, a touch of vanilla, and mild oak, finishing soft rather than smoky. It's a solid mixing Scotch for highballs or a Rob Roy.
