About this bottle
San Matias is a family-owned tequila house founded in 1886, one of the older continuously operating distilleries in Jalisco. This Cristal Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila aged 12 months in American oak and then filtered to remove the color, keeping the barrel-driven flavor while presenting clear like a blanco. It has a sweet aroma of cooked agave, oak, and vanilla, with a smooth, creamy texture on the palate and notes of caramel, oak, and spice, finishing long with a hint of sweetness.
