Whisky Row Rich and Spicy is a blended Scotch whisky bottled in small batches and named for the character it aims at rather than for any single distillery of origin. Blends built toward richness usually lean on older, weightier whiskies to carry the load, and this one drinks in that direction: dried fruit, brown sugar and a wisp of orange peel on the nose, a palate of raisin, cinnamon and clove over soft malt, and a warm, spiced finish. Batch two will differ a shade from the first, as small batches do. Drink it neat, over ice, or lengthened into a whisky highball.
