About this bottle
Noilly Prat Original Dry Vermouth is a French dry vermouth from the Noilly Prat house in Marseillan, made from a base of white wines aged outdoors in oak barrels before being blended with a proprietary mix of herbs and spices. That outdoor aging is part of what gives it a distinctly dry, slightly oxidative character compared to many other dry vermouths. The nose shows chamomile, citrus, and light oak, the palate carries herbal bitterness and dry minerality, and the finish is crisp and dry. It's a staple for classic dry Martinis.
