Absolut Elyx Vodka 750 ml

Absolut Elyx is a single-estate vodka made entirely from winter wheat grown on the Råbelöf estate in southern Sweden, distilled in a rare 1921 copper column still restored specifically for this expression. The copper contact through distillation, plus a birch-charcoal and copper-mesh filtration, gives it a notably smooth, faintly creamy texture, with a touch of vanilla and grain sweetness rather than the sharper edge of a standard vodka. Bottled at 42.3% ABV, it sits a notch above Absolut's usual strength. The copper-clad bottle is part of the presentation, meant to be kept out rather than tucked away. Serve it chilled, neat, or in a clean, spirit-forward martini.

How to drink Absolut Elyx

Keep it in the freezer and pour it neat into a small glass to feel the creamy texture the copper still gives it — hard chilling doesn't dull it the way it does a sharper vodka. It also makes a notably smooth vodka martini with very little vermouth needed.
