Chopin Rye Vodka 1L

Chopin Rye Vodka is distilled from Polish rye at the family distillery in eastern Poland, part of a range where each bottling is made from a single ingredient rather than blended for neutrality. Rye is the grain that gives vodka spice instead of sweetness, and that comes through clearly here. The nose is fresh bread and cracked pepper; the palate is dry and grainy, with white pepper and a hint of dill running underneath; the finish is crisp, warming and dry rather than soft. Bottled at 40% ABV. Serve it very cold and neat, stir it into a dry martini, or use it where a vodka should add bite to a mule.
