Chateau Desclans Whispering Angel 375ml
About this bottle
Whispering Angel is the entry-level rosé from Château d'Esclans, the Provence estate whose owner Sacha Lichine helped push high-end rosé into the mainstream US market in the 2000s. It's a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and other traditional Provence varieties, made in the pale, dry style the region is known for. The nose carries strawberry, citrus, and white flowers, the palate is dry and light with crisp acidity, and the finish is clean and refreshing. Good for warm-weather sipping or pairing with a light seafood dish.
Serve well chilled, around 45-50°F, alongside grilled fish or a summer salad.
