Luce is a Tuscan red wine from Luce della Vite, the Montalcino estate founded jointly by the Frescobaldi family and the Mondavi family. It's built from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grown on the estate's vineyards in southern Tuscany, aged in oak before bottling. The result is full-bodied and structured: dark fruit and dried herbs on the nose, blackberry and cherry through the palate, with the tannin and acidity to age well over the medium term. It suits someone who already drinks Super Tuscans and wants a bottle with real pedigree behind the blend rather than the label alone.

How to drink Luce
