Ruffino Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico (Gran Selezione Gold) is a full-bodied, complex red wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. It is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and for an additional 6 months in the bottle. The wine has aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, and hints of tobacco and leather. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured with flavors of ripe cherry, blackberry, and plum, along with notes of spice, tobacco, and leather. The finish is long and persistent. This is an excellent wine to pair with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
