Alma del Jaguar Blanco 750 ML

Alma del Jaguar Blanco is an additive-free blanco tequila made at Destileria Cascahuin in Jalisco, a family distillery that still cooks its agave in brick ovens and works at a scale where the spirit is not chasing a house flavour profile. The brand also directs a share of its proceeds toward jaguar conservation in northern Mexico, which is where the name comes from. In the glass it is bright and green: cooked agave, citrus peel and wet earth on the nose, then a palate of black pepper, lime and cooked vegetable over a clean mineral base, finishing dry with a peppery lift. Drink it neat in a small glass, or in a margarita built with fresh lime.
