Balcones Rumble 750 ml

Balcones Rumble is not a whiskey, despite coming from a Texas whisky distillery — it's a distinct spirit distilled from a fermented mash of turbinado sugar and Texas wildflower honey, then aged in oak, closer in production to a rum or brandy than a grain-based whiskey. Expect a rich, dark profile with notes of caramelized sugar, honey and baking spice from the barrel aging, without the grain character a whiskey would have. It's one of Balcones' more unusual releases, aimed at adventurous drinkers looking for something outside standard spirit categories.
