Broken Antler Cold Brew Coffee is a coffee-flavoured whiskey, the meeting point between a shot and a nightcap. Cold brew extraction pulls chocolate and nut character out of the beans without the acidity hot coffee brings, which is why it layers so cleanly over a whiskey base rather than clashing with it. The nose is roasted coffee, cocoa and vanilla; the palate is dark roast, brown sugar and a little caramelised grain sweetness; the finish is dry and bitter-edged, shorter than a liqueur's. Drink it chilled and neat, pour it over ice with a float of cream, or use it in an espresso martini and let whiskey do the lifting.
