Casa Obsidiana Blanco is unaged blue Weber agave tequila, bottled clear and straight off the still without time in oak. That leaves nowhere for the distillate to hide, which is exactly why blanco is the honest way to judge a house. Expect cooked agave and citrus zest on the nose, then a palate of sweet roasted agave, green herbs, white pepper and a clean mineral edge, finishing crisp and peppery. A short chill tightens it up nicely. Serve it neat in a copita for sipping, or put it to work in a margarita or Paloma where the agave should stay front and centre.
