Compass Box Peat Monster Arcana is a limited-edition blended malt Scotch whisky built by combining smoky, peated malts with three experimental cask types, part of Compass Box's ongoing Peat Monster project exploring how oak interacts with peat smoke. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added color, it leans into campfire smoke and brine up front, with a sweeter, oak-driven layer underneath — vanilla and dried fruit pushing back against the peat rather than getting buried by it. The finish is long, smoky and slightly resinous. It's built for whisky drinkers who already like Islay-style peat but want to see what deliberate cask experimentation does to that profile.
