About this bottle
Dievole Novecento Chianti Classico Riserva 2017 comes from one of Tuscany's historic Chianti Classico estates, made primarily from Sangiovese blended with Canaiolo and Colorino under the region's strict Riserva rules, which require longer aging than standard Chianti Classico. Twelve months in French oak build structure around the wine's naturally high acidity and firm tannin, and the result shows ripe red fruit, spice, leather, and tobacco on the nose, with cherry, blackberry, and spice carrying through a full-bodied, well-structured palate. The finish is long, balanced by soft tannins rather than a harsh grip. It's built to age further as well as drink now.
How to drink Dievole Novecento Chianti Classico Riserva
Decant it and serve with grilled meats, tomato-based pasta, or aged pecorino, classic Tuscan pairings that meet the wine's structure head-on.
