Foursquare Nobiliary is a limited release from Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, part of master distiller Richard Seale's Exceptional Cask Selection series, widely regarded as one of the most respected names in modern rum for its transparency about aging and blending. Foursquare distills both pot and column still rum and ages it tropically in Barbados, which accelerates maturation compared to cooler climates. Expect dried fruit, caramel and baking spice on the nose, a rich, full palate with real depth from tropical aging, and a long, warm finish. A collector-attention release rather than an everyday mixing rum.
