About this bottle
Cowboy Bourbon is Garrison Brothers' annual cask-strength flagship, and the 2025 release is a Texas straight bourbon aged at least eight years, hand-selected barrel by barrel by Master Distiller Donnis Todd and bottled uncut and unfiltered at 146.4 proof. Texas Hill Country heat pushes the whiskey in and out of the barrel wood far faster than a typical rickhouse, and it shows here as burnt wood, gun smoke, and toasted marshmallow on the nose, with black pepper and baking spice balanced by plum and apricot on the palate. Only 10,000 bottles were released in 2025. This is a bottle for collectors chasing the biggest, boldest bourbon Texas makes each year.
