Hussong's Reposado carries the name of Hussong's Cantina, Mexico's oldest cantina, founded in 1892 in Ensenada, Baja California, and often credited as the birthplace of the margarita. The reposado is rested in oak for a period beyond the blanco but short of the brand's añejo, softening the raw agave with light wood influence. Expect cooked agave and light oak on the nose, a smooth, balanced palate with vanilla and pepper, and a warm, moderate finish.
