Mijenta Cristalino 750 ML

Mijenta Cristalino is an aged tequila filtered back to clear, made in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco under master distiller Ana Maria Romero. Mijenta is additive free and built around a sustainability programme that runs from the agave fields through to the packaging, which is unusual in a category where marketing usually outruns practice. Cristalino keeps the sweetness and body oak gives an aged tequila while dropping the colour, so the agave reads more clearly than the wood. The nose is cooked agave, vanilla and citrus blossom, the palate silky with honey, baked pear, gentle spice and a mineral highland note, the finish clean and lightly sweet. Serve it chilled and neat, or over one large cube.
