About this bottle
Roe & Co Blended Irish Whiskey takes its name from George Roe, once the biggest whiskey distiller in Ireland, and is made today just down the road from his old distillery at Dublin's St James's Gate. It blends single malt and single grain Irish whiskeys, matured mostly in first-fill bourbon barrels, into something lighter and more mixable than a single pot still. Expect green apple and vanilla on the nose, a smooth, honeyed palate with a touch of toasted oak, and a clean, gently spiced finish. It reads more approachable than intense — a good bottle for someone easing into Irish whiskey or wanting one that plays well in a cocktail.
How to drink Roe & Co Irish Whiskey
It's built for mixing as much as sipping — try it in a whiskey ginger or an Irish take on an Old Fashioned, where its lighter body won't get lost. On the rocks with a wide glass works fine too if you'd rather keep it simple.
