Jura American Rye Cask 14 year 750 ML

Jura is the single malt from the island of the same name off Scotland's west coast, where one distillery and one road serve a population smaller than most village pubs. This 14 year old spends its final stretch in American rye whiskey casks, a finish that brings pepper and dry spice to a malt that is naturally soft and lightly sweet. The nose is toffee, orchard fruit and a trace of coastal air; the palate moves through honey, baked apple and rye spice; the finish is dry, spiced and medium-long. Pour it neat, and add a drop of water if the spice runs hot on the first sip.
