Koloa Gold Rum is an oak-aged rum from Koloa Rum Company, distilled on the island of Kauai, Hawaii from local sugarcane grown on some of the same land that once fed the island's historic sugar plantations. The gold expression rests in oak for color and light caramel character, a step up from the brand's white rum. Expect vanilla and caramel on the nose, a smooth, lightly spiced palate, and a clean, easy finish. Built as an approachable island rum for both sipping and mixing.
