About this bottle
Lanson Le Rose is the non-vintage rose from a house founded in 1760, here in the Fruit Market presentation. Lanson is known for blocking malolactic fermentation, which keeps its wines taut and high in acid rather than soft and creamy, and that house decision is exactly what makes the rose taste as crisp as it does. Wild strawberry, redcurrant and white blossom on the nose lead to a palate of red berries and citrus carried by a fine, persistent bead, and the finish is dry and bright. Serve it properly cold as an aperitif, or put it next to charcuterie, smoked salmon or a bowl of summer berries.
