Laws Secale Straight Rye is the flagship rye whiskey from Laws Whiskey House in Denver, Colorado, distilled grain-to-glass from a high-rye mash bill and named after Secale cereale, the botanical name for rye grain. Laws is known for sourcing much of its grain from Colorado farms and aging in the state's dry, high-altitude climate. Expect rye spice, dried fruit and oak on the nose, a bold, full palate with real grain character and heat, and a long, spicy, warming finish. A well-regarded craft rye outside the Kentucky and MGP mainstream.
