Laya Reposado Black edition 40% Alc/Vol 750ml

Laya Reposado Black Edition is a rested tequila released as a darker, richer counterpart to the standard reposado in the range. Resting agave spirit in oak is a balancing act, enough time to add caramel and spice but not so much that the cooked agave disappears, and the Black Edition sits at the fuller end of that scale. Roasted agave, dark caramel and toasted oak on the nose lead to a rounded palate of butterscotch, cocoa and dried orange, then a warm oaky finish of medium length. Pour it neat in a copita after a meal, or over one big cube in a tequila old fashioned with orange bitters.
