About this bottle
Martell Blue Swift is a cognac-based spirit made from 100% Martell VSOP eaux-de-vie, aged a minimum of four years before a finishing period in bourbon casks, and bottled at 40% ABV. The bourbon finish layers vanilla, coconut, and warm spice over Martell's usual delicate fruit character, with notes of ginger and candied fruit and a rounded, toasted-oak finish picked up from the bourbon wood. It is a crossover spirit built to appeal to bourbon drinkers as much as traditional cognac fans, smoother and less formal than a standard VSOP. Good for someone curious about cognac but coming from whiskey rather than committed cognac collectors.
