About this bottle
Martell VSOP Medaillon is a Cognac from Martell, one of the oldest Cognac houses, founded in 1715, blended from eaux-de-vie aged a minimum of four years, longer than the VS tier. Martell has historically favored eaux-de-vie from the Borderies growing area, which tends to give its Cognacs a distinct nutty, floral character compared to houses leaning on Grande Champagne. Expect a nose of dried fruit, spice, and light florals, a smooth, rounded palate with vanilla and toasted nut notes, and a warm, moderately long finish. It's built for both neat sipping and classic Cognac cocktails.
How to drink Martell VSOP Medaillon
Sip it neat or with a single ice cube; its balance of fruit and spice holds up well either way.
