Mezcal Derrumbes Joven is a mezcal made from 100% agave Espadín, produced in the small village of San Juan del Río in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in an underground oven and then crushed with a horse-drawn tahona. The juice is then fermented in open-air tanks and double-distilled in copper stills. The result is a smooth and smoky mezcal with notes of cooked agave, citrus, and herbs.
