Nouvelle-Orléans Absinthe Superieure 750 ML

Nouvelle-Orleans Absinthe Superieure is a French-distilled absinthe made in the style New Orleans drank before the ban, built on grande wormwood, green anise and fennel and coloured naturally with herbs rather than dye. Absinthe at this strength is meant to be diluted: pour a measure, drip iced water slowly over a sugar cube, and watch the louche turn the glass cloudy as the herbal oils drop out of solution. The nose is anise, fennel and dried mint; the palate is layered and lightly bitter; the finish is long and cooling. Drink it prepared with water, or use it to rinse the glass for a Sazerac.
