Pearse Irish Whiskey 12yr 750ml

Pearse Irish Whiskey comes from the Pearse Lyons Distillery, built inside a deconsecrated church on James's Street in Dublin, a short walk from where the city's brewing and distilling trade grew up. The 12 year old is the oldest expression in the range and carries a full age statement rather than the no-age blends that fill most Irish shelves. Twelve years in wood makes it soft and orchard-fruited: honey, pear and vanilla on the nose, then malt, baked apple, toffee and light spice across the palate, with a gentle, sweet, medium-long finish. Pour it neat in a glencairn, or over a single cube if the room is warm.
