About this bottle
Rémy Martin VSOP is a Fine Champagne Cognac, meaning its blend is drawn only from the Grande and Petite Champagne crus at the heart of the Cognac region. More than a hundred eaux-de-vie, distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes and matured in French oak, are married into a supple, mature style that sits a clear step above VS. Vanilla and ripe apricot lead, with baked apple, licorice and a warm oak spine underneath, and it is bottled at 40%. VSOP — Very Superior Old Pale, the old cellar-master's grade for a well-aged, lightly colored brandy — has been the house standard for over a century. It earns the name: rounded enough to sip neat, structured enough to carry a Sidecar or a French 75.
How to drink Rémy Martin VSOP
Serve it neat or over one large cube to let the apricot and baked apple show. It's also structured enough to carry a Sidecar or a French Connection if you'd rather mix it.
