About this bottle
Ron del Barrilito 3 Star is a Puerto Rican rum from one of the island's oldest rum producers, distilling since the 1880s and predating the light, Bacardi-style rum that later came to dominate Puerto Rican production. It's aged using a solera-style blending system in used bourbon and sherry casks, which gives it more depth and body than most light Puerto Rican rum. Expect caramel, dried fruit and a touch of sherry-cask richness on the nose, a smooth, oak-forward palate, and a warm, lingering finish. A sipping rum with real history behind it.
