About this bottle
Royal Salute 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky created in 1953 as a salute to Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation day — and the Signature Blend recipe hasn't changed since. Every whisky in the blend is aged a minimum of 21 years, then bottled at 40% in a sapphire-blue flagon modeled on the stones in the Crown Jewels. The pour is classic old-blend elegance: sweet pear and orange marmalade, vanilla and dry oak, a wisp of sherry and soft smoke, closing long, dry, and lightly spicy. This is the bottle for marking an occasion — a retirement, a milestone birthday — or for giving to someone who has earned it.
