Smith and Cross Traditional Jamaica Rum 750ml
About this bottle
Smith & Cross Traditional Jamaica Rum is a pot-still rum built for high-ester, funky Jamaican rum character, made by Hayman's in England from Jamaican pot-still spirit rather than distilled in Jamaica itself, using traditional dunder pit fermentation for extra funk. It's bottled at a notably high 57% ABV, well above most rum. The nose is intensely funky with banana and tropical fruit, the palate is bold and hot with real ester-driven complexity, and the finish is long and rich. Good for a Jamaican-style daiquiri or a tiki drink that needs real funk.
How to drink Smith & Cross
Shake it into a tiki drink or a Jamaican-style daiquiri, where its high proof and funky character cut through sugar and lime rather than getting lost.
