Springbank 10 Year 700ml

From Campbeltown — once the whisky capital of the world, now home to just three distilleries — Springbank 10 Year is the flagship single malt Scotch from Springbank, one of the last family-owned houses still malting its own barley on site. It is distilled two and a half times, matured for a decade in a mix of about 60% bourbon and 40% sherry casks, and bottled at 46% with no chill filtration and no added colour. A vibrant cereal note opens into gooseberry, mango and honeycomb; the palate turns to oatmeal, orange pulp, toffee and warm baking spice before a signature hit of sea salt closes it out. The whisky to reach for when you want Campbeltown's coastal, oily character neat.
