Made from 100% malted barley in Denver and aged in Colorado's high-altitude climate, which speeds the interaction between whiskey and barrel, it's bottled at 90 proof. Expect a deep amber color with caramel, toffee, and oak on the nose, and toasted oak, vanilla, and baking spice on the palate. Stranahan's is one of the pioneers of American single malt whiskey, and Blue Peak showcases the house style in a small-batch limited release.
