The Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Your World Paris 700ml

The Macallan Distil Your World Paris belongs to the Speyside distillery's series made with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, each release built to translate a single city into whisky. Macallan's own constant is wood: the house commissions and seasons its sherry casks in Jerez years ahead of filling, and that is where most of the colour and weight in the glass comes from, not from colouring. Expect dried fruit and orange peel on the nose, a palate of raisin, dark chocolate, ginger and toasted oak, and a long finish of sweet spice. Serve it neat in a copita, and skip the water.
