The short answer: Usually, yes. Alcohol can be delivered to an office as long as the address is one the seller can ship to and an adult 21 or older is there to sign for it with ID.
The signature rule
Every alcohol delivery needs an adult signature (21+). The carrier won't leave the box at the door or with someone under 21. If no one can sign, the carrier will usually try again, which can push the gift past the date you wanted.
Office or home: which is better?
- Office: Best when there's a front desk or mailroom staffed on weekdays. Check that the office is open (not fully remote or closed for the holidays) before you send.
- Home: Works when the recipient or another adult is likely to be home during the day. Ask first if you're not sure.
On a long list, a mix is normal. Put the best address for each person on their row.
What causes missed deliveries
- Offices closed between holidays
- Shared buildings where the carrier can't get past the lobby
- Missing suite numbers
- No phone number for the carrier to call
How we handle it
When you send your list, we check every address and come back with questions about anything missing, like a suite number or ZIP code. Each gift ships on its own with its own tracking, so you can see where every bottle is. Every order is sold and fulfilled by a licensed retail partner.
