About this bottle
Yellowstone Select Bourbon comes from Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky, run by descendants of the Beam and Dant whiskey families, reviving a brand name that dates back over a century. Made from corn, rye, and malted barley and aged a minimum of four years in new, charred American oak, it's bottled at 93 proof rather than the more common 80 or 90, giving it a bit more heat and intensity. Expect caramel, oak, and vanilla on the nose, with smooth, sweet toasted oak and baking spice through the palate, and a long, warm finish with a hint of smoke.
How to drink Yellowstone Select
Pour it neat or over ice, or build it into a Whiskey Sour where the higher proof holds up against citrus and sugar.

Questions about this bottle
What's the best way to serve Yellowstone Select Bourbon?
Neat or with a single large ice cube in a rocks glass lets the aromatics open up; a tulip-shaped glass like a Glencairn is best for nosing. Once opened, keep the bottle upright in a cool spot out of direct light — whiskey doesn't spoil, but it slowly loses aroma once the bottle is more than half empty, so it's best finished within a year or two.
