The whisky rests in ex-bourbon barrels for more than five years before finishing in barrels that held North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout — a genuinely heavy beer, and it shows: roasted malt and dark chocolate layer over the whisky's base char and vanilla. Bottled at 100 proof. This is a whisky built specifically for stout drinkers who want to see the style translated into spirit. Pour it neat, or try it in place of a stout-based cocktail.
