Adictivo Extra Anejo 14 Year Double Black 750ml

Adictivo Extra Anejo Double Black is the darkest bottling in a line already known for long maturation, and it carries a fourteen-year age statement on the label. Extra anejo requires three years in oak at minimum, so fourteen puts this far past the category floor and well into territory where the wood is doing as much talking as the agave. The nose is deep and sweet, all vanilla, dark caramel, dried fig and toasted oak. The palate follows with cooked agave buried under baking spice, cocoa and roasted nut, and the finish is long, dry and gently tannic. Pour it neat at room temperature in a copita or a snifter and give it time.
