About this bottle
Don Julio 70 is the tequila that invented the cristalino añejo — fully barrel-aged, then filtered back to crystal clarity. Released to mark 70 years since founder Don Julio González began distilling, it rests 18 months in American white oak before charcoal filtering strips the color and keeps the character: cooked agave, vanilla, honey, and toasted oak in a water-clear pour. The 100% Blue Weber agave is grown in the Jalisco Highlands and distilled at La Primavera. Cristalino has since become a full category across Mexico's tequila shelves; this bottle remains its benchmark. Serve it chilled and neat in a copita, or pour it into a margarita that drinks like an añejo and looks like a blanco.
