About this bottle
Cascahuin Cerro de Luz Blanco is a 100% blue agave blanco tequila from the small, family-run Cascahuín distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Cascahuín has been making tequila across several generations using traditional methods rather than the high-volume techniques of the larger tequila houses, and this unaged blanco is meant to show the agave itself with nothing else in the way. Expect bright cooked-agave sweetness up front, citrus and black pepper through the palate, and a clean, slightly herbal, peppery finish. It's built for drinkers who want an honest, unsweetened blanco rather than a smoothed-over mixto.
How to drink Cascahuin Cerro de Luz Blanco
Sip it neat in a copita to appreciate the agave character, or use it as the base for a Margarita or Paloma where its peppery edge won't get lost.
