Fuenteseca Cosecha Blanco 2020 750 ml

Fuenteseca Cosecha Blanco 2020 is a vintage tequila - cosecha means harvest, and the year on the label marks the agave crop the spirit was made from rather than a bottling date. It comes from Enrique Fonseca, whose family has farmed agave in Jalisco for generations and whose blancos are sought out for showing the plant with no oak standing in the way. Unaged and unhurried, it is a study in raw agave: cooked agave, citrus blossom and wet stone on the nose, a palate of black pepper, green herbs, grapefruit pith and minerality, and a clean peppery finish. Drink it neat at room temperature in a copita.
