The whiskey is aged in new American oak until it earns its straight bourbon designation, coming in with a deep amber color and a nose of caramel, oak, and baking spice. On the palate expect vanilla and toffee layered over that oak, finishing long and smooth at 90 proof. This 375ml bottle is a good-sized introduction to a genuinely farm-to-glass bourbon.
