Dom Perignon Vintage 2015 in the Takashi Murakami limited edition pairs a warm, generous harvest with artwork from the Japanese artist behind the smiling flower motif, applied across the bottle and case. The wine inside is the standard 2015 vintage: chardonnay and pinot noir from a single sunny year, blended and aged on the lees in cellar before release. Ripe stone fruit, brioche and candied citrus on the nose; peach, almond and spice over a firm chalky line on the palate; a long, dry, generous finish. It is a gifting bottle as much as a drinking one. Serve it around ten degrees in a white wine glass.
