Beefeater London Dry Gin is one of the last major gins still distilled within London city limits, made from a bill of nine botanicals — juniper, angelica root, angelica seed, coriander seed, liquorice, almond, orris root, Seville orange peel, and lemon peel — steeped for 24 hours before distillation rather than added during the run. That extended steeping gives it a genuinely citrus-forward character within the classic London dry style, juniper still leading but with real brightness from the Seville orange and lemon peel underneath.
