About this bottle
Tumbleroot High Desert Gin comes out of Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, built on wild-harvested local juniper alongside grapefruit, lime, basil, lime leaf, green cardamom, coriander, and long pepper. The botanical mix draws inspiration from Thai pomelo salad, and it shows — bright citrus and herbs lead the way, cardamom and long pepper add a spicy edge, and the wild juniper brings a resinous, classic gin finish. It won a Silver Award at The Gin Master 2025. This is a gin for people who want juniper present but not dominant, with real citrus and spice doing the rest of the work.
How to drink Tumbleroot High Desert Gin
Its citrus-and-spice profile makes it a natural fit for a gin and tonic with a grapefruit twist instead of lime. It's bright enough to carry a simple gin and soda if you want to taste the botanicals without much else in the glass.
