About this bottle
Bushmills Single Malt Irish 12 Year is made from 100% malted barley at the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in the world, and matured for 12 years across a combination of American oak, Spanish Oloroso sherry, and bourbon casks. That three-cask maturation is where the whiskey gets its character: honey and vanilla from the American oak and bourbon casks, layered with the darker dried-fruit sweetness sherry casks bring. The finish runs long with a lingering hint of spice rather than a sharp, hot close. This is a sipping whiskey, best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
