The Tyrconnell Sherry Cask Finish 10 Year is a single malt Irish whiskey from Cooley Distillery, finished in sherry casks after its initial maturation to add dried fruit and spice depth beyond the brand's standard unfinished release. The Tyrconnell name honors a 19th-century racehorse, a nod carried through the brand's identity. Expect dried fruit, toasted nuts and sherry-driven spice on the nose, a rich, smooth palate with honey and oak, and a warm, moderately long finish. It's one of the more widely available sherry-finished Irish single malts.
